Originating in the 1960's, in the US, the Hippie (Hippy) is the original hipster, and still living strong.  There are those who still follow, exactly, the aesthetics of the original hippies; and there are those who look different on the outside but have the same values on the inside.
On this page, HellaCliques, will be focusing on the stereotypical Hippie of the 60s.  There are still a very large number of people who identify with this clique, and there are a lot of activities to take part-in across the world.
The definition of Hippie Music is music that is a blend of Folk Music and Psychedelic Music.  The lyrics often talk about free love, politics, drugs; but any music that pushes the boundaries and searches for an acoustical space can be considered Hippie.
