Notice the prefix, AFRO, this subculture is specifically looking at Africans and for the most part, Africans in the western world. The idea is to visualize what one wants to become and then start shaping and altering the present to reach that goal.
These goals are presented through many mediums including sci-fi literature, music, dress, and art.
