We have found that some refer to "Scene Kids" as "Trendies", but that does not seem to be very prevalent.  Rather TRENDIES are those who follow the latest trends without really having a love affair with the statement that they are making.  So TRENDIES are those who just go with the flow of what is trending, rather than decisively diving into a specific clique.  

This can be good and bad.

We here at Hella Cliques firmly believe that every move you make should have an educated rationale behind it, but at the same time we also think that everyone needs to stay open-minded.   So... an example of a Trendy Gone Wrong is someone signing a petition to legalize marijiuana just because they know that everyone is doing it these days; rather than signing the petition because they've done a lot of research on the subject, from all angles, and feel that they firmly believe it should be legal. 

An example of a Trendy Gone Right is someone who takes the latest trends and makes them shine.  Say... buying a mini fan for your phone so that you can take selfies with wind-blown hair!
