SLOANE RANGER: This cliques started in the 1970's, but is still seen today around the world. Sloane or Sloanie (girls); Getting it's name from Sloane Square in the Chelsea Borough of London and the youth's equestrian fashion.  These kids were from upper class where they were often raised with enough money to be able to partake in equestrian activities.
