Originating out of Jamaica, a RUDE BOY/RUDE GIRL is an unruly urban youth, period.  This page, however, is dedicated to those Rudies coming out of the 60's who listened to ska, rocksteady music, and/or skinhead raggae.  With the big influx of Jamaicans into the UK in the 60's, Rudies became a genuine clique that is now internationally appreciated.
